Quality grade stainless steel in commercial kitchen environments is essential behind and adjacent to grills, ovens and hotplates, or anywhere that equipment may give off heat outside the parameters of PVCu cladding (60 degrees)
Stainless Steel Installation
Our installation methods are the same as PVCu cladding, all sheets are fully bonded to the substrate using our two part polyurathane adhesive, ‘Stainless H’ section trims are used between sheets and two part PVCu cladding trims are used for the transition between stainless steel and PVCu cladding. This installation method does not leave any gap behind the sheet which is recommended for food preparation areas.
For larger areas incorporating internal and external corners we have a range of bespoke pre-fabricated stainless steel profiles.
It is recommended that the stainless steel is installed at the same time as the PVCu cladding so that it povides a seamless transition between the two materials.
Our installation methods ensure that like PVCu the stainless sheets are seamless and do not require any mechanical fixings.
Stainless Steel Quality
We use high quality stainless steel 18g sheet (1.2mm) which comes in three sizes as standard:
2.0m x 1.0m (HCD/SS/20), 2.5m x 1.25m (HCD/SS/25), 3.0m x 1.5m (HCD/SS/30),
Depending upon the application the sheets are either used vertically or horizontally if a stainless steel splashback is required.
We undertake all cut-outs for sockets etc on site negating the need for site drawing to be supplied for cut-outs.
