Ceiling – Installation

Hygienic ceilings can be mounted on most ceilings, the method of installation changes depending upon a number of factors.

Ceiling Planks Mounting

Suspended ceiling systems can be mounted either directly to existing soffits, such as standard plaster and plasterboard ceilings, if the existing ceiling height is what is required.

If the ceiling height needs to be lowered, then the new ceiling can be suspended from the existing substrate on a Metal Framed (MF) grid systems.

If the existing ceiling is a concrete slab, then the new ceiling will need to be installed using a MF grid system

Suspended Ceilings

Tile Ceiling systems cannot be mounted either directly to existing soffits, but suspended from the existing substrate on a Metal Framed (MF) grid systems.

Where the Ceiling planks system is not applicable due to significant access required through the ceiling for additional services then Hygienic Tiles in a standard ceiling grid is more appropriate. Our new aluminium gloss faced ceiling tiles can be removed and degreased/cleaned easily.
